Every year in January Maersk Broker start the process of selecting candidates for the international 2-year Shipbroker Trainee Programme with commencement in August.

The Shipbroker Trainee Programme
During the Trainee Programme you will acquire knowledge and skills in all essential shipbroking disciplines through a balanced mix of practical and theoretical training.

In addition to a professional shipbroking education the Trainee Programme will enable you to develop thorough knowledge in relation to business negotiations, effective communication and presentation techniques as well as interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.

To demonstrate the true diversity of our global organisation the Shipbroker Trainee Programme offers a stationing of 6-8 months with one of our 15 offices globally.

How to apply
The preferred candidates should as a minimum have 2 years higher education from commercial college (e.g. "Finansøkonom" or "Markedsføringsøkonom") or similar. Furthermore a high proficiency in the English language is required.

Apart from the above formal requirements - and a keen interest to explore the world of international shipping - the right candidates are entrepreneurial, extrovert and capable of contributing to the team success in their own individual way.
